Berklee City Music Network

Berklee City Music Network® is a consortium of over 40 community organizations across the United States and Canada committed to delivering high-quality contemporary music instruction to youth from underserved communities. The network consists of out-of-schooltime programs that receive access to the Berklee PULSE Music Method®, as well as other resources and support from Berklee College of Music.

PCM’s College Prep Program is a nationally award-winning program for contemporary music education. Members with Berklee College of Music’s (one of the top colleges of music on a global scale) Berklee City Music Network, PCM is one of the over 40 community organizations in North and South America (and the only site in Arizona) to utilize Berklee’s PULSE curriculum as a base for our comprehensive, audition and merit-based program with access to summer intensive and college scholarships. PCM’s robust program serves up to 150 students per year. It is designed for students in 4th grade through 12th, gives students opportunities to learn in a setting that mimics college study with private lessons, contemporary music ensembles, music theory, relevant enrichment programs, many performance opportunities and summer intensive week long workshops.

Phoenix Conservatory is a proud Berklee City Music Network member and our staff and students take an active role in network activities throughout the year.
